need a win big time. I fear it could be the year the rfc drop out of the premiership sadly

any truth in the rumor there is a split in the camp between the scarlets and the rfc this year?

No ,but its true that we are badly missing the Academy players who have been moved to the A team for the Celtic Cup and also in part now out in South Africa due to AI's and injuries. Truth is we all need more players but paying for them is the biggy!  The RFC lads including lads on permits have played with great heart and effort and credit to them. However, as you know some of the other clubs have older and more experienced players in the team. Even last Saturday v Cardiff they had ex Scarlets Kirby Myhill, Morgan Allan and Rory Pitman in the pack and Martin Roberts at scrum half for starters !! We scored 5 tries to their 7 and got them worried but as you know age and experience counts and we have young men in the team but who are playing with heart and guts and learning on the run what it takes to win ! It is going to be an important year for us as you say but yes,  we need a win asap. Its a long season and no doubt  we shall be issued some cavalry soon from the Region .

Thing is RFC hardly any Scarlets been released last season and I do not think it will change .

I will be there to support Llanelli tomorrow and I am confident we will have a good result .
