The funny thing here is that Cheika reckoned that it was a YC and a penalty try, despite the lack of contact to the head, and lack of injury to the Aussie player.
A couple of weeks ago, someone also called Cheika saw absolutely nothing wrong in Kerevi's KO shoulder-to-head charge on Lee Halfpenny. It cant possibly be the same bloke - can it?

Lack of injury is not relevant to these offences. Its the actions that count. I am sure Scrum V 's panel thought yellow/pen try was possible as well as he prevented a score. Poor reffing imo

Like I’ve said on a few occasions, there appears to be one ruling for domestic matches involving non-international players or international players from tier 2 countries, and a different set of rules for international players playing for tier 1 countries.
I can’t see the IRB doing anything about it as fans want to see the best players playing on the top stage. |
