Will be interesting to get Pivac's analysis on that and how he is going to set about putting it right.
For all the gloom on here lets be thankful we don't have a Jackman!

Really missed Ball in the boiler house to steady our scrum.
Having said that, Glasgow are not flying at the top of conference 'A' without reason.
They are capable of giving anyone a hiding, we no longer are.
Need to focus now on qualifying for next year's Champions Cup.

Glasgow are a damn fine team. We are still trying to be.

Tadgh, Barclay, Scott, Cubby, Aaron

We have lacked a back row all year. No aaron, cubby and caziem unfit. Add to that no bulk in the second row. We arexeasy targets for the bigger packs. Rawlins and cummins are not second rows.

Tadgh waz ireplaceable. Brclay close too. Scott not so much as he would have been sub when everyone was fit
Unfit?we are over 3 months in to the season what the hell do they do all week?

Barcley said when we played Edinburgh, ‘Scarlets have not changed the way they play in four years’, which I feel is true, and other sides with competent coaches have worked us out. It’s going to be a long season

Indeed. I totally lost it at home. It seemed to turn the game but, perhaps, it was just a symptom  of a real bad day at the office.
We are not functioning as well as we all know we can.

Patch looked what he is to me, a guy who has had very few minutes of rugby in October and November. Rusty with flashes of excellence.
Elias, Rob Evs, Steff were others who just haven’t had enough game time to be absolutely match sharp in my view. The legacy of being a Team Wales non starter for at least 3/4 games I guess ( plus being injured in the run up ).

The young guys like Dan Davies and Hardy will have learnt a lot about how different the top teams are from the rest.i felt some onus was on the likes of Kruger, Cummins, Cassiem to take the responsibility as senior players in the group. They were ok individually but ( and I might have missed this) i just didn’t see them talking to the younger guys, especially when things got fruity around the red card and at set pieces..we are talking about internationals and/or guys with over 150 Super rugby games under their belts between them...bags of experience to share.

Speechless... can't understand how after so much training we can forget so much. Apart from some poor officiating just have to put it down to a bad day at the office because it doesn't make sense

Not wishing to make excuses, but do you think the pitch affected our players.  They took a beating there last season and may have been reluctant to go to ground.  Just asking - don't shoot the excuse carrier.

Seems like a common problem with the Scarlets last few seasons. Worst thing that happened in that game, in my opinion, was them getting a red card. We seem to go down a gear or two and the other team normally goes up a couple of years to compensate for the loss.

We really haven't clicked this season though. When we look at how we compare to the last two seasons, we are really missing cubby and Shingler with regards injuries. Hugely missing Beirne, Barclay and Scott. Aled's departure is the least felt I think as we have some quality at 9. Our replacement players for the other three that heave left, are not at their level yet. Fonotia has been a good signing, however is not a 12. Should have started Asquith at 12 today in hindsight.a

I don't agree with the fact that people have sussed us out. When a system works, it's very difficult to defend. Gatland ball being an example of this. Yes, you have to have some tweaking, but our skill levels seem to have dropped a couple of levels, which is why our system isn't working.

Big week next week. Have to cut out all the errors. Hopefully Ball, Cubby and Blade are ok, fit and can play.

let's not beat about the bush here....it was an absolute embarrassing, shambolic, disgraceful display, tonight.it would have been bad enough losing to a full strength Glasgow team, but to lose to virtually a 2nd string squad, was totally unacceptable, sorry.

Agreed. There's probably a few of us on here who have played at varying levels, have been there before themselves. Turning up to games which we expect to win on paper or from previous experiences, the other team get carded or loose a valuable player, we then think we are going to simply smash them, only for the other team to kick on and win.

Need to start learning fast. Agree that quite a few internationals back on the team sometimes can have an adverse effect.

We were smashed in the scrum and conceded numerous penalties which put us deep into our own half and defending for our lives. We couldn't cope with their offloading game. Glasgow have played like this for the last three seasons, you'd have hoped that our coaches would have been preparing for it all week, but it didn't look like it.
New combinations in the back row, half back and centre didn't help our cause either.
Keep the faith

I suppose the one positive to be taken is that I haven`t seen such utter s**t since the days of Nigel and Easterby.

Simply unacceptable at every level. From Patchell missing penalties to touch to our line out throwing. No matter how many changes we made, our front row was prison shamed for 80 mins. And how much rugby did we actually play; 10 mins the whole game and when we did play we scored two absolutely tremendous tries. Why is it this season the only time we play rugby is when we are chasing a game??

Hell of a lot of work to do to get something from this season now. Just hope the coaching staff and players have the commitment to turn things around. That was truly dreadful tonight.

It was just a plain straightforward sloppy performance by the team.
They were out-played everywhere and out-competed on the floor.
Far too many spilled balls, penalties, etc.
It was not what I expected.
