At the moment getting 3rd and gaining a spot in the champions cup supersedes us finishing 2nd. I’ll gladly take a number 2 spot though.
Only one team plays in red. (Sorry, Scarlet)

We need to win all our remaining games. Simple as that. We also need to target some bonus point victories as well.

We can get the whole 5 points available against the Dragons and Zebre. If we manage a bonus point win against Edinburgh or the Blues as well then that would be brilliant!

Dragons are an embarrassing mess. The quicker we drop fo 3 regions the better. When you compare connacht to the dragons it shows the gulg time the WRU cut them adrift.

Going into a QF with 6 wins on the bounce will feel like 2 seasons ago.

Have a feeling Benneton might have a bit of wind in their sails and pick up 3Ws from their 4, scuppering our chance of 2nd spot.

Have you seen Bennetons run in Glasgow, Leinster, Munster and Zebre away they get three wins out of that lot they deserve to be second

Sorry my mistake but three incredibly hard games and a derby our run is much better should get at lest two five pointers and I think two four pointers.

But those two wins will be hard to come by, IMO... Connacht away is very tough, as is Leinster (even a weakened Leinster) in Dublin - Munster won't roll over. They should be too good for Zebre, but it's a derby, so who knows?

Haha!

When Ulster went down to 13 men, I tried by telepathy to tell the Dragons to keep the ball in hand, go through the phases and look for gaps to release their quicker players - Jordan for example. What did they do? They kicked it upfield and didn't get it back until after Ulster scored by driving again and again through the forwards... even with 15 men, the Drags lost the battle of the gain line, got pushed back, until Ulster scored. Very poor.

Actually, apart from that passage they weren't TOO bad for much of the game.

Any TMO decisions in Ireland will go in favour of the Irish team, just like Benetton have benefitted from in their recent home victories against us and Edinburgh. So I believe Benetton will struggle to get anything other than losing BPs away in Connaught and Leinster. They will get 5 points against Zebre and possibly 4 points against Munster at home, depending on whether Munster get a stranglehold on the game like they did yesterday.

It’s a huge game for the Blues....after us they have 2 away games in Ireland ( and Ospreys last game).

For a real chance of a top 3 they need to beat us.

The Blues game is a massive one for the travelling fans. We could make a big difference.
