That'll probably reduce ball in play time as we could well be seeing the John Lacey show - so he gets lots of television time - rather than a rugby match.
But you never know, he may have changed.
Unlikely I think.

What the Italians are alleged to have done last week ranks alongside 'Bloodgate'

If true, we should be awarded the 5 pts. makes no diff to our conference, it will still be a 4 horse race for 2 spots. A few weeks ago Northampton were awarded the 5pts when the weather meant that they couldn't play their tie against Timisoara. This incident was far worse !!!

I'm pretty sure he reffed us when we beat Quins away in the ERC some seasons ago. We scored some beauties that day.

We really must learn and get a lot better at taking the ref out of the game. If we do that we're a match for anyone.

Gareth Edwards was best at this - way back in the 70s he charged for the line from a few yards out - the ref got in his way - Gareth ran over him and broke his shoulder!

Good looking team and great to see some of our international players back. Ball will hopefully give us some grunt up front and Halfpenny will give us the defensive stability we’ve missed for so much of the season.
The weather should be conducive to a open game, and the more open the game, the less influential the referee can be on the outcome.

If their strength is the pace of their backs then I'm not so sure we should welcome an open game before we build up a decent lead.

Great result for us with the Blues beating Edinburgh.

It will only be significant if we win today though.

This international window has been great for Benetton in particular.  I still have us finishing 3rd even if we lose today but a win should keep us in contention for 2nd placed spot. Plenty of whelm going into this game, especially after yesterday's result.
