Watching the irish game, hope we never have this ref. Missing everythi g ireland do illeagle and catching france with pettyness. BTW what is the kaw regarding tzking out the tackler before the tackle is complete?

Just checked and he's an AR next week in our match against Ireland. Judging by this performance today, we should be ok as he's giving the away side nothing. Mind you, he's got an Irish sounding surname !!!!!
Who’s the ref?

Referee: Angus Gardner (Australia)
ARs: Ben O’Keeffe (New Zelaand) & Karl Dickson (England)
TMO: Marius Jonker (South Africa)

Good point, if the reffing in the 6 nations has proven anything, it’s that they tend to favour the home team.

Too late I'm afraid. We've had him. The man in question is Ben O'Keefe. He's the one who  thought that the late shoulder charge to Halfpenny's head against Australia was ok !

The TMO and citing ref also thought everything was OK.  Clearly wasn't
