To Ospreys, just breaking news apparently.

Don't really understand that. Bearing in mind the pay banding, will he earn more with them ?

odd decision, blues on the way up. good team developing. ospreys putting out a big wodge of money for him £350k per year. only reason I can think of he wants to play 10 all the time

Don't quite get this one, I assumed the Blues were at the top of the salary band if they made a request to go above it, so it's either a case of they requested to go above it, got it declined and didn't offer him top wedge and the Ospreys did or he's simply chosen to go to the Ospreys out of preference.
The comments from the Blues 'source' suggest that they didn't offer the top of the banding though, so why request to go outside of it? Interesting that the Blues and Ospreys are recruiting in the backline when it appears their forwards need more attention, maybe they're ahead of the curve with how rugby is changing, or they just want to make a splash......

I imagine the Ospreys have given him the chance of playing 10 week in week out which is something that the Blues haven't given him as they have given Jarrod Evans the 10 shirt with Anscombe starting more at FB.

That would make sense, but not sure why the Blues source referred to would mention their financial constraints if the money was the same at the Blues as the Ospreys.

A few Blues fans moaning about him leaving after the investment they put it to him, kind of ironic when Cardiff used to be the cheque book charlies

Let to believe Ospreys were offering more than the Blues.

Good acquisition for the O's, but if they don't retain Sam D I think it's a little wasted.

I have heard that Sam D and Clarke don't get on. Not sure if that's correct. Mind you, I've also heard that Anscombe and Mulvihill don't get on either which may explain the move.
