Just to let everyone know the Champions Cup Final will be shown live on channel 4, in case you don't have BT Sport.

I think the Ospreys 'warm up' match against Glasgow has fallen through.

And that's the situation. We are where we are because of our own form. We have one last chance and we know we have that chance. Both our potential opponents are in limbo. They each have the advantage of being at home. We have the advantage of knowing that we are playing.
That said, I'd love the chance to revenge the thrashings the Blues have us and to force Mulvihill to eat his words. |

SA14 you have explained the rules quite simply and they make sense. If anyone doesn't get it now then they will never get it!!!!!. Perhaps our total dumbfoundedness should be aimed at why we cannot prepare a team well enough to press on and complete the job against Edinburgh & the Dragons. Incidentally if we had then we would have finished 3rd and all this talk would be redundant. We would also have had an opportunity to play Munster at Thomond when they are looking like a team that has hit the wall.

I know that, I just don't want a play off against the Blues.

We’ll be in a play off regardless so no worries there. |

Well Sale have to beat Gloucester on the final day & hope that Bath slip up against Leicester. La Rochelle have jumped to 4th in the Top 14 so it is only really Sale not qualifying through league position which would (as I understand) stop any potential match against the Blues (barring a Saracens win in the final).

Exactly there’s no mention of it. So going by the book they still have to have a play off. By not having one the Blues could quite rightly say they’re making it up as they go along. |

Us and the Ospreys are ranked fourth. The rules say there must be a play off between a team in each conference the team with the most points are home. If the Ospreys automatically qualify the rules still stay in place meaning the blues are next up in the other conference. They have more points so the same home and away rule applies. People are saying the PRO14 are changing the rules. If what I said isn’t followed that’s when they’ll be breaking the rules. I originally was really annoyed at the whole thing but if you go on the site and read up then unfortunately we’ll be away regardless. I think next season it’s all change with the conferences based on finishing positions this season. No doubt they’ll adjust things again. It’s farcical. |

It’s in the champions cup rules which the PRO14 follows. The highest rank qualifies. Then there’d be a play off after that.

There's no mention of what happens if an 8th place becomes available in the rules which means they're making it up as they go along. The logical answer is play the playoff and the winner goes through. If an extra place becomes available the loser goes through. This is a farce.

11 wins from 29 games isn’t the best, injuries or not. |
