Reading online that there will be a press conference at 4am where an announcement will be made. Both sides have been briefed ahead of the announcement. Also Biggar out of the Uruguay match.

Safety is best policy, surprised they didnt move it to another venue or day? is this an advantage for england? it means they will win group and they get to rest all their players hmmm

May also affect the Scotland/Japan game.
Would be tough on the Scots to go out this way.

Could also be seen as a disadvantage as they haven’t been tested in the group yet.

Really hope they find a way of getting the Scotland Japan match on, don’t want the RWC match remembered for the wrong reasons.

These rules are ridiculous, especially given the 4 day turnaround that teams have. They should at a minimum be allowed 36-40 players for pool games IMO. |

England v France & New Zealand v Italy are both off. Organisers hoping that Scotland v Japan & Ireland v Samoa will both go ahead.
