Those travelling from London need to check whether the M4 closure will affect them.
Someone has posted a message on the Scarlet Away Fans FB page.

This might be a long shot, but I wondered if anyone could let me know if there happens to be two spare seats in a car or a minibus or a coach available somewhere, going from Llanelli to Reading and back the same day. We will be happy to pay petrol/parking. It's not urgent, we'll drive up if we have to, it's just that we didn't manage to get a spot on the official bus. Thanks.

This from Highways England' 17 to 20 January 2020 - full weekend closure between junctions 6 and 8/9 We will need a full closure of the M4 in both directions between junctions 6 and 8/9 to demolish the old Huntercombe Spur bridge. We will close the M4 from the evening of Friday 17 January to the morning of Monday 20 January 2020. We will be working day and night during this weekend to complete the demolition and reopen the motorway on time. Throughout the works, we will be monitoring noise and vibration near the site. During this weekend we will divert traffic to the A308M, A308, A332 and A355. We will put strategic diversions on the wider motorway network to direct traffic away from this part of the M4, using the M25, M3 and M40. The stadium is at Junction 11 so those of us travelling eastbound should be ok. |
