Armed with the news that Jonny, Rob, Sam & Samson are fit & available, no word on Blade but lets assume he is also over his sickness what team will we select. My guess is this :-

15. Leigh 14. Jonny 13. Steff 12. Hadleigh 11. Steff 10. AOB 9. Cawdor
1. Wyn 2. Ken 3. Samson 4. Jake 5. Tex 6. Aaron 7. Josh 8. Uzair

16. Ryan 17. Rob 18. Werner 19. Sam 20 Blade 21. Hardy 22. Lamb 23. Baldwin.

My personal selections would be slightly different - I would start with Conbeer at 14, Baldwin at 13 & Steff at 12 with Asquith on the bench. My forward selection would probably be as above as long as Josh has had a talking toLOL

Discipline will key in this game, we are looking to win by at least 8 points so Leigh to take all on offer.

That's bound to be close.

I'd start Sam with Tex on the bench - Sam is a slightly bigger unit, seems from what little we've seen so far to be top class in the line-out, and his conditioning seems also to be a few weeks ahead of Tex's.

I might also be tempted to have Dan Jones rather than Lamb on the bench, if fit - Dan's done really well in European games over the last couple of seasons, and could close the game out if necessary. His defensive play has come on loads, too.

I’d go:
15. Halfpenny 14. Johnny 13. Asquith 12. Parkes 11. Steff 10.AOB 9. Cawdor

8. Cassiem 7. Macleod 6. Shingler 5. Tex 4. Ball 3. Kruger 2. Ken 1. Wyn

Rob, Elias, Lee, lousi, Blade, Hardy, Dinky, Hughes

Something needs to change with the centres. It was flat against Cardiff.

Shows we are building a good squad as team doesn't pick itself.

But Blues didn’t commit many players to the Ruck so focused on defensive game . Didn’t help for mid field breaks

Yip, that’s true but they got oust side our defence a few times and counter attacked well. They were just a-bit more clinical. We had our moments though

I feel that if we pick Steff Hughes for his intelligent, attacking kicking options, captaincy etc, he's got to play at inside centre where he can more influence the decision making, with preferably a faster, more physical outside centre at his side, to make use of these distribution and kicking skills. If Parkes feels that he too can only give his best at inside centre, then I'm afraid that it's a straight choice between them, with whoever's fit out of Baldwin/Asquith/Fonotia on the outside.
As far as right wing, as I've said previously unless McNicholl has shown much better form than recently in training then it's Conbeer for me.

A bit of a gamble I know but could we not play Sam and Tex for the first 50 then bring Jake on firing for last 30. With Cassiem, Aaron and Josh behind that is a big but mobile back 5 of scrum with either Blade or Jack Morgan on bench.
Front row is strong whoever we pick.
Cawdor and Gus at halfback
Would like to see Asquith playing as he gives us a bit of flair in midfield perhaps with Steff inside. Steff and Conbeer on wing both deserve to play with Leigh at full back
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

In a big game you pick your big game players, if fit,  Parkes and McNicholl will play. Conbeer  willhave his day but experience is essential in Europe
