Thanks. There were two Alan Evans who played for Llanelli RFC - a full-back that had one game in 1970, and a prop that had 17 games in 1977-78.

Another question about our great clubs history.
Early 1890s
Llanelly RFC nearly went under due to numerous reasons, players, sponsors, ground, seen as middle class club Which working mans club rugby team merged with Llanelly to save it.... within one year we had 4 players capped by Wales |

Phil played for Llanelli when he was 17/18. He was on the bench v nz Maoris in 1982. He then went to South Wales police and then came back to us . I think he played for SWP in the Schweppes cup v Llanelli at stradey in 84/85 and we beat them 43-0. He came back a couple of seasons later .

18 years and 5 months. I don't know if this is the match you're referring to, but according to this match programme, Phil played against Llanelli on the 23rd Feb 1985 (along with at least 6 other Scarlets) - |

Phil Lewis was rapid, a cracking wing/ full back, sadly quit rugby too soon for a career in the Police.

Llandre you were correct,Scott Quinnell was the player who crossed for 5 tries against London Irish . The two Scarlet under 21 players who also won senior Wales caps were Huw Harries and Craig Quinnell . Thursdays question is ,who was the Canadian International scrum half who played 6 times for the Scarlets in the middle 1990s .
