. Forgot to add Etzebeth who came on as a  second half substitute went off with a side injury..

Unfortunately the fact they have two matches leading up to our game will give them the advantage imo.

If the champions league is anything to go by the teams who were coming off breaks tended to beat the teams who had been playing for the past few weeks. Toulon will have wear and tear but Scarlets could be rusty.
For the losers now, will be later to win.

Not if they keep playing like that they wont.

The french tend to save their best for their home games, I’m not rubbishing our chances - I think we have a good shot at beating them - but our momentum has stopped because we can’t play and they have a chance to get their systems in place.

Should be a good game - can’t see it being European quality though, players haven’t had the chance to settle in yet.

They only have Lyon at home before us don't they? They play next Sunday so just a 6 day turn around, possibly good for us?

I dont like to focus on ifs buts or maybes, we could have played games like Toulon, lost them all or gfot hammered and picked up loads of injuries. We will be fresh and bruise free.

Etzbeth was a monster against us at home, he just took our pack apart on his own. Belliau is a tremendous player too. boy that evens things out a bit

Etzebeth and Belliau are big losses for them. Hope we have Jonathan Davies, Liam Williams, Rob Evans, Gareth Davies and Rhys Patchell fit for selection.

I’d be surprised if they risk any of the above mentioned players without any match fitness.  They’ll probably stick with the players who’ve had game time against either the blues and the dragons, plus maybe Tex.

They’ll need them if they want to win.
