It always works for Leinster. Wasnt that the whole point of having a deep squad? sighting Leinster as the module we were aiming at?

They need to play. If we win, we will have a semi final and possibly final so we have to use the quarter final to play them in or otherwise we’ll have the same problem in further rounds.

Doubt whether the game will take place, as it seems that Covid19 is making a very strong come back.

My only worry is that when we have a 2 or 3 week break normally, we play like we've never met each other. Fingers crossed.

They were dreadful, but we had not played a game for six months.

What did impress me was our patterns of play! and offloading game .

I think it will come down to who does the basics well. I didn’t see enough of that in the two games we’ve played to be overly confident, areas of concern for me are scrums and lineouts. Our lineouts are pants and scrum is hit and miss. We need to have a good game in these areas.

Looking at the positives our breakdown and clear out of rucks is immense with Cassiem and Macleod on the field, thats where Toulon need to match us.

Took this of their website. It's the squad for this Sunday's match at home to Lyon.

Avants
Brian Alainu’uese, Anthony Etrillard, Florian Fresia, Beka Gigashvili, Jean-Baptiste Gros, Matthias Halagahu, Thomas Hoarau, Facundo Isa, Thomas Jolmes, Raphaël Lakafia, Charles Ollivon, Julien Ory, Sergio Parisse, Swan Rebbadj, Emerick Setiano, Bastien Soury, Sébastien Taofifenua.

Trois-quarts
Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Erwan Dridi, Bryce Heem, Julien Hériteau, Daniel Ikpefan,  Ramiro Moyano, Duncan Paia’aua,  Baptiste Serin, Sonatane Takulua, Gabin Villière.

In the backs, though, Julien Heriteau has injured his shoulder and is out for a while. He was scheduled for the French squad too.

I never have time to watch anything else other than the Scarlets, and literally know one player in that selection.

Despite injuries they will have a formidable team based around a decent front row & with guys like Taofifenua, Lakafia, Ollivon, Isa & Parisse in the back 5. Serin is quality at 9, Heem is a decent back 3 but who plays 10, 12 & 13 is a mystery to me.

I see that France have stated over 10000 new cases of Covid in last 24 hours and its on the increase. This match may be off.
