I cannot see how this game can go ahead. If we win on the weekend, we will have a semi final the following weekend. However would the squad, management team & any others who travelled have to self isolate for 14 days in line with government guidelines?

Sporting teams & their bubble appear to have exemptions due, in part, to their testing regimes. However any fans travelling will be subject to the restrictions in place at the time which at the moment is quarantine for 14 days on return from France.

Interesting to see that Serin played at 10 against Lyon. Wonderful 9 but never seen him play 10. Could be a weakness. Goal kicking options may also be of interest to our coaching staff. Etzebeth will be a huge loss.

Great to see that Foxy is back playing a full part in training. If there is no reaction this week he starts for me. We can cover for Liam & Rhys being missing but, without Tyler getting minutes, we cannot replace Foxy. Steff Hughes on bench will open up an opportunity for us to go 6/2 split with Steff covering 10 along with Jonny Williams.

12 Gallagher Premiership players tested positive last week. Several team mates are not training as a consequence, albeit they are tested frequently so not subject to the longer self isolation.

This does give a sense of how fragile the framework for these matches, and indeed all matches planned, is right now.

Indeed - that news combined with the earlier news from France regarding Stade players and you cannot escape the fragility of our sporting return.

Ah thanks for that, that makes sense!!

Specifically, P14, Gallagher Prem, EPCR have written exemptions in Wales and England from the quarantine regulations
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

Looking forward to this game. Should be in quick and dry conditions, so should be an exciting game. Quite a few selection headaches for the coaches, but if everyone (apart from Shingler) is fit, I would go for something like the following:

15 Halfpenny
14 Liam
13 Foxy
12 John Bleddyn
11 Steff Evans
10 Dan Jones
9 Cawdor
8 Cassiem
7 Mceloeud
6 Blade
5 Lousi
4 Ball
3 Lee
2 Ken
1 Wyn

Subs : Rob Evs, Elias, Werner, Tex, Kalamafoni, Cubby, Hardy and Patchell

6/2 split, where Cubby could slot in as a back if required.

Leaving out a lot of quality there. Can't remember us having so much depth and quality to our squad.

Would take Rawlins on the bench to cover second and back row positions over Tex. Is Sanjay healthy?

Biggest strongest available team, Tex and Jake to start, with Sam on bench , back row to start , Cassiem,Kalamfoni and MacLeod , with Blade and Cubby on bench . Rob is also out  Looks like only Foxy will be available out of Sanjay and Patch...So a 6-2 split on bench .

Brace was super strict on the breakdown for the Pro-14 final, at times penalising players immediately for falling on the wrong side, and for not rolling away even when they seemed to be trapped, so maybe worth holding in opposing players!

As for Foxy - I'd be reluctant to risk him, TBH.
