Good article - I had forgotten Jac captained Wales U-20s, but have recently been agreeing with some others who saw him, already, as a Scarlets captain-in-waiting.

He certainly leads from the front, and is not afraid to gee up the other (older) players!

A really great prospect - I'm so glad he's with the Scarlets.

We are likely to see Carwyn come through as well in the next couple of seasons. Exciting times for the region.

Yes great to see. Where does Jac come from again? I have forgotten why he was at Aberavon?

Love it, but probably not practical.

Jac is 5'10"
Dan is 6'0"
Josh is 6'2"

Unsure of Carwyn's height, but with his size he ain't a jumper LOL.

We wouldn't win many lineouts.

I have heard a few people say Jac is a potential hooker, but is he too skillful and would be wasted?

One of the most used lineout targets by Wales and the Ospreys is Tipuric who's 6f

The departure of Hadleigh has left a massive hole because he could read a defence and exploit its weakness. Last night showed Asquith at his best. He has to be the fulcrum around which our attack revolves.
When does he become Welsh qualified? Confused

I believe Asquith is tied to Australia.
He played for their 7s which is a capture team but had he finished playing for them before turning 20 he wouldn’t have been “captured”. I believe he played in his 20s though.

I’m happy to be proven otherwise by someone who can look into this further. The world rugby site isn’tas clear as it could be.

Let’s not talk about him qualifying for Wales, he’ll only join a long list of players who get dragged from their regions to be used as tackle bag carriers at the jail of Glamorgan.

I had thought of him when replying actually. BUT.... Tips is 6'2" not 6'0". And typically plays with a 6 who is 6'3" or taller. When he and Warbs doubled up, that was probably the shortest partner he had. Maybe it was Navidi for a short while, but predominantly Lydiate (6'4"), Shingler (6'6"), Wainwright (6'3") and now Lewis-Hughes (6'5").

The backrow above is averaging around 6'0" that is seriously lightweight. We can play them, just not all together unless we unearth/buy two phenomenally good lineout locks or avoid kicking to touch for 80 minutes.

Well deserved (some may disagree, though...!)
