Hoping for some advice from you all.
I'm looking at travelling by car for the Leicester game 25th october with a 7.45 kick off. The premier inn is available for the 2 nights friday & saturday, but is it to far out of the way for a friday night on the town, and also for some sight seeing on the saturday during the day....... If i was to stay in town, is there shuttle bus's trains etc to the ground ? Is it best to stay in swansea and again get a bus or train to the ground ? Is it possible to go to the swansea v leicester city game which kicks of at 5.30pm and the taxi it straight to the scarlets v leicester tigers game ? without missing any game time ? Any suggestions / thoughts/ advice will be greatly received

quite a few answers neaded for this one dunks , if you stayed in swansea there is alot more nighlife , check out wine st, if you just went to the scarlets tigers game you could get the bus or train to llanelli , give yourself plenty of time have a few beers , happy days .
if you wanted to go to the football , you would have to get a ticket at leicester , you would have no chance this end because every game is a full house . because its a sell out , traffic outside the liberty is chaos after the game , they close a few of the roads , it would be very tight to get a taxi to scarlets v tigers game for 7.45pm . i am a scarlets fan living in swansea , stick i take is water of a ducks back .

Premier Inns are both close enough for what you want. East is about 500m walk from the ground. West is about a fiver in a cab, if you get there well ahead of KO time.
Doubt that you'd manage the footie final whistle and the KO at Scarlets unless you had a helicopter. Hope that helps. |

hi dunks , if you wanted to make it easy for yourself stay in llanelli, you could easy get a taxi to and from the game , and llanelli is a rugby mad town . if you wanted have a bit of night life on the friday nice meal in a restaurant then swansea would be your best bet , sightseeing is all the same coast line is amazing around the area .

Remember to visit the Red Room in Llanelli, pre and/or post match.
Depends what you're after food wise and what your budget is, you could find Sospan/Sosban to your liking. It's a short walk from Prem Inn West and has been Welsh Restaurant of the Year. Stephen Jones and Dwayne Peel are part of the ownership team. |

If you stay at the Travelodge in Llanelli Town Center there are normally shuttle buses for a couple of quid which go to Parc Y Scarlets on match days from near the Travelodge. The bus also returns to town after the match every hour for 3 hours after the match so if you wanted to stay in the Barn after the game you could

I think the Travelodge is your best bet. The bus to/from Parc y Scarlets is pretty much outside the front door and the Scarlets Red Room is a one minute stagger away.
