I had a 'Wish you were here'  postcard from Cardiff Blues this morning. Smile

It said "We noticed that you are yet to return to us...... come and help make Cardiff Arms Park a Fortress this year......."

I must be on their system as I bought a ticket for one of our Christmas games direct from their office in Cardiff. - that was over 5 years ago. Shocked

Me too. An English-only postcard that's under the deluded  impression that I once supported them and even more implausible -"that they are in for an exciting season".

Replace 'exciting' with 'interesting', and they may have a point!

It's good marketing though. Yes Rob may not be interested but there might be plenty of people who don't support any other regions who will consider it.

But there's no offer of a reduction or an introductory (sorry "welcome back" offer).
The Blues should have a captive audience, with so many students and civil-servants moving in from other parts of the country and also being the most convenient region to watch while partners are out shopping etc. Yet they alienate a substantial number immediately by not even having a bi-lingual card, or a reduction.

I agree, but just because they don't doesn't mean sending a card to remind of their presence to anyone who's bought tickets from them in the last X years isn't bad marketing.
