Don't know how he's been playing since he left us, but I always liked him.

Good rugby brain and same as Parkes, always seemed to do the right thing.

If an opportunity came up I'd love to have him back.

If you click on his profile on the Blues website you get this lovely line to end it..

“Michael, a complete utility who can play midfield, wing or fullback, enjoyed an off-season stint playing for the famed Llanelli Scarlets in the Pro12 competition last season.”

He's been playing well for the Blues, Hopefully playing under Pivac before he'd jump at the chance to return

Michael Collins would be a good acquisition but surely that depends on how many NWQ spots are left. With Wells and Casseim possible targets surely we are full.

Thanks for enlightening me - he's well worth considering as has been said on here before he is very much in the Hadleigh mould - invariably makes the right decision. He would be a very good 15 when Leigh not available & with Jonny & Fonotia covering the other back 3 places our International window team would look a lot stronger next season. Conbeer, Nicholas, Baldwin & Tom Williams would add more competition.

Very solid player and still mates with a lot of the Scarlets boys. Holding his own in a very strong back division at the Blues. Lacks out and out gas, but always seems to do the right thing. Very Hadleigh like in the way he plays. Would live him to come back.

I'd welcome him back immediately but I thought he was chasing that AB shirt. With McKenzie, Barritt junior and doubltless half a dozen others in contention, that may be a forlorn hope but he has to want to give up the chase. The sight of Hadleigh playing international rugby may help swing his thoughts. Quite frankly. I'm not sure we need him with all these prospects in our academy system but he'd certainly do a major job for any of the other three regions.
