My workmate from Glasgow recommended the Horseshoe Bar as a good meeting place as well.

Evening all, hope you're all ready for your trip to Scotstoun where you will be warmly welcomed.

The Horseshoe is very much one of the go to pubs in Glasgow. It is right in the city centre and not too far from both Queen Street and Central Stations. Both have trains that stop at Scotstounhill from the low level platforms and take 15 - 20 minutes, followed by a 15 minute walk to the stadium. Bear in mind that the Horseshoe is probably the busiest pub in town and on a Friday from knocking off time until Saturday midnight (it does close for a short time) it can be chock a block. Scottish Cup Final on Saturday too, so it won't reduce the numbers

The Old School House on Woodlands Road mentioned above is towards the West End, so closer to Scotstoun and does decent, if generic grub. It's been a Warriors fan zone so a good chance they will show the other semi. Dram about 300 yards from it, is a better pub, but no guarantee they will show the Saturday match. If you're up that way on match night a private hire taxi is about 7 quid to the stadium. Close to the stadium and with decent bus and train connections is Partick with so many pubs and plenty of restaurants so no thirst or hunger issues there.
Pubs closer to the stadium are basic, but if you want  a drink then plenty of beer stalls in the ground although choice of drink is a bit limited. There is also the club house next to the East Stand, which is basic, but welcoming.

Hope those of you that can make the trip have as good a time as we've had in Llanelli regardless of the result.

Whilst they do the job, our Glasgwegian friends reckon there are better alternatives in the West End. A good compromise is the Esquire Wetherspoons at Anniesland which is right beside a well-connected rail station and taxi rank.

M.M. I think that's the spoons up the road from where we're staying...
Yes, tis the one.
Pre-match food and shant sorted for me.

Grannie Gibbs, an odd place, supposedly a theme pub, but we couldn't work out whether it was Wild West or Far East !
Herman Tours ... Still the best way to travel !

I honestly don't understand how we've got where we are this season. We've ridden our luck at times. But when it clicks...... I honestly can't predict it, all I hope for is a win of any kind. A great flowing game like both teams are capable of would be good, but I don't think I've got enough beta-blockers for that

If anyone else has been excluded from the two night club bus otrip to Glasgow because of double booking of hotels, what are you planning to do?

Thank you! Apart from the fact that we would probably be in a state of collapse after a one night trip, so well done you, we really thought this is the game to make the effort for as a lot of people can’t/won’t, but plenty will travel for a final.
