I personally think taht France were stunned by a "Well Organised, Disciplined Welsh Defence" their Blitz & Umbrella patterns were well effected & TBH France were out played & outclassed .... Every Player stood up for the cause .... well Henson did have a quiet 10 mins just after Half Time LOL !!!

Floch was ordinary ... Skrela - absent, the only French player who looked remotely up for it was Szarzewski !!

As for who started , Hook / Jones, Peel / Phillips etc,

I think Sir Warren ap Gatland & Lord Edwards of Pembroke chose well !!
Herman Tours ... Still the best way to travel !

Perhaps you´d rather hear, the stereotypical Mike Phillips comments;

He´s abrasive
He´s like an extra forward
He´s the new Terry Homes

all the cliches rolle out about french flair  inconsistencies jekkyll and hyde etc
as for anyone trying to downplay our great achievement. as far as I can see france threw the kitchen sink at us. picked their best team and actually played well or rather as well as we allowed them to.

it was a titanic tussle  settled by unbelievable defence, team ethic, structure discipline, strength , unity, belief , flair and a bit of genius

we were too good
