An absolute gentleman I've spoken to him in the water. Hopefully he'll l stay and our children will end up in the same comprehensive school when he becomes Scarlets head coach!! 😉

One of the best signings in Scarlets history, fantastic player and my dark horse for the Lions squad in the summer.

I suspect that John and Hadleigh gel the team. Both are top performers, articulate,  humble , respected and let their game do the talking . Wonderful signings of the highest order!

Good to see John get game time in a famous win against the Irish - he was involved in the crucial penalty too, if passively - he got tackled after a carry, and the Irish were penalised at the ruck.

Well done, John.

Well done, John.

Thought he did really well when he came on , after the Scots dominated the first half Ireland were right back in it and couldn't see them not winning but the Scots pulled it out at the end and I thought John Barclay played a big part in that when he came on.

Was not using his right arm when shaking the other plyers hands at end of game. Looked like he was carrying his right shoulder/arm
