Very intresting. Id still want another quality tight head even if Morris did sign! Byrne would be a fool to leave!

The stadium may change, but the dream will remain the same!

He's playing quite well for Leicester, i don't think he'll be a bad signing. So we can take it that Julian White isn't coming then.

Anyone know Jenson Button's lawyer? To rip up a signed contract two years in a row with different teams (and to get away with it) is some going. Get him to give Lee a ring!

Easier way out......

  1. Lee Byrne signs for Ospreys........
  2. Club doctor certifies him to be Non Compus Mentis (but still brighter than Duh-wyn)
  3. After Much Deliberation Lee Byrne is sectioned on 15/05/2006
  4. Ospreys Contract deemed to be Null & Void
  5. 4 weeks of relaxation therapy in the Carribean
  6. 4 weeks of Conditioning therapy (Stradey)
  7. Lee Byrne declared sane again
  8. New Season Starts, Lee Byrne pulls on Scarlet No.15 Shirt

Happy Days

Herman Tours ... Still the best way to travel !

The localised condition of planetary atmospheric condensation caused a malfunction in the visual orientation circuits...

Or to put it another way, we got lost in the fog.

Simply impossible and pretty stupid too.

It just wouldnt happen that way,and if he has signed, thats the end of the matter. There would be no get out clause for 5 minutes after signing.

I never shoot messengers but they look pretty daft when writing something like this on a forum.

Read it back to yourself !

There has been numerous cases of players just refusing to play for a team despite having a contract. Byron Hayward did it to us, he just said he wouldn't play again, and I've I sneaking suspicion MM was under contract when he walked out on us. Tomas Repka at Westham United in effect said he no longer wanted to play for the cluband despite being under contract was allowed to leave. If a player really doesn't want to play for a team he is a liability to that team and it's best not to pick him.
C'mon you Irons

At his best (which was for a very short time) Morris was a superb player. That tight 5 that Graham Henry put together in 1999 was packed full of highly talented players but almost to a man they underachieved. Craig Quinnell, Chris Wyatt, Ben Evans and Darren Morris. Only Garin Jenkins got to somewhere near his potential. To take him on would be a bit of a punt but at the right price, not much of a risk. Getting him fit is the first problem. With him and Martyn together, our front row would look like a weigh[beep]chers meeting.

If Lee Byrne has signed a pre-contract with the Os and changes his mind there is not much they can do about it in reality.

If he tells the jokers at the Ospreys: "Look I've made a mistake - I DO NOT want to play for you" then I'd guess they will just accept it as they wouldn't want a player who doesn't want to be there - and wants to be with their main rivals. It's not as if LB is a major signing anyway.

Darren Morris is easily good enough for HC rugby - he was on the Lions standby list 6 months ago and would be a pretty good signing. Would prefer Julian White, though!

Ive just got my Doctorate in psychology and stuff off ebay, so if he ever needs anyone to declare him two props short of a full scrum Im open to bribes or international tickets(LOL).
Take a risk or two, make a few mistakes. As long as you're adventurous I wont mind.
