With no Scarlets game sad to see the likes of Nicholas,Conibeer,Gardiner,Tom Phillips or Daniel Davies not selected for the RFC,surely most of these need to play Rugby. Any news on Joe Miles, David ?

Agree Mark, Llanelli RFC need those players back asap to strength the team, I don't understand why they haven't been selected!

Aren't some of those guys (Conbeer, Baldwin, Dan) with Wales 7's?...
I sort of get why Gardiner wouldn't play with TH's being at a premium and Samson un-fit still ( and Javen with the Quins), and our backs are a bit thin on the ground to say the least (Nicholas). |

I gather they are with Wales 7's. Too much rugby in the calendar or not large enough a player pool to fund ? (or both!). It will be quagmire up there tonight if the game goes on-If ever a place needed artificial pitch its there with the mountains on both sides cascading down the water. Lovely in July mind!

You could always test their sense of humour and turn up with RFC emblazoned snorkels and tourist info publicity for Llanwrtyd Wells. |

These players will be playing another round with Scarlets A - 12 Agames in total i a season - add to that the games some will have with the region, as well as wales u20s / 7s.
thats near 20 odd games. December / January was seen as a "Development Weeks" for these players. If it was beneficial for the players to play in the semi pro league, I am sure they would. It was always stated by regional coaches that the youngsters were playing too much rugby in the premiership. Edited by PE SA - 09 November 2018 at 2:29pm |

The weather was atrocious on arrival. The young Llanelli back did very well against a solid Keys pack with some 'mature' members in it (not quite player development!) but the referee was whistle obsessed and there were lots of stoppages. Another game we could and perhaps should have won. Next game away to Aberavon next Friday.
