good luck to Justin James today. hope he gets on for his 202nd and last game for Llanelli.

sad times.

Excellent servant, in another time he could have had a career as a full time pro. Played in virtually every position in the back line for RFC.

aye, disappointed he wasn't given a contract, I always thought he was a very good player. watched him play for wales 7s out in lyon and he was excellent, top try scorer and point scorer (even with full time 7s players in the squad). i think he trained with the scarlets for 3 months but wasn't given a contract and they signed tipuna on £10k a month, who wasn't as good.
yeh, he's played 9,10,15, wing and I think centre for llanelli. he'll be missed.

Yep. I sponsored him this season :) Will be picked up no doubt as good solid Premiership player by some club. Sometimes change is good for a player mind and fresh pastures.

With all the people apparently leaving/not offered contracts, next season could be harder than this. While the region seem to be building a tidy first team, below that is crumbling and sadly that's where the region with come a cropper when injuries come calling.

Good to see the Rfc end season with a good win, aside of a good unbeaten run mid season,a hugely disappointing season .

ah, I know who you are now :-)

yeh, I sponsored Justin every other season, so I was very disappointed not to be able to sponsor him this season.

hopefully he'll be signed by another prem club.. he's certainly good enough, and is talking to a few, its just that mid april is late to find out you wont be given a new contract, so I hope the other clubs haven't filled their scrum-half positions and they have money left in their budgets.

Tondu you blew your cover years ago  LOL  ! We shall have to try and get more stability next year in the RFC with the 8 : 8 split as we don't want to be 9th and as you know, its going to be very hard with the 4 good sides coming up.
