Utter joke. They have enough players in camp anyway and if they can call up players as they wish it makes a mockery of the covid bubble excuse for not releasing players back to the regions.😡😡

Any reasons given? eg., current wingers/full backs injured? Perhaps they'll send foxy back now he's crocked.

Yeh obviously - doesn’t make it right though. They don’t understand the importance of good regions equaling good national squads. Take Ireland and France.

It’s not even as if he plays centre, Foxy’s position, mun! There is Enough cover for full back and wing in Halfpenny, Sanjay, Holmes, Adams, LZR and North. It’s as if Pivac wants us to face Ulster and Leinster with a weakened side.Angry

I  watched Wales on Friday,Scarlets on Saturday.I,'ve no idea how McNicholl would have fared, had he played against Ireland, but I'm absolutely certain that our first two tries on Saturday, and possibly our third, would not have been scored if Halfpenny was playing.Maybe Pivac and Jones have now realised that you have to pick a pacey full-back if you want to play attacking football.
Yet more evidence of the mess that is Welsh professional rugby union.

With the amount of back 3 players in the squad I genuinely believe he's in due to the fact he's been playing games and match fit unlike North, LRZ, Lloyd, Holmes... I wonder if they see now that these players need to play. They need to play.

Similar issue with Hardy... The one having game time with Wales is the one that had regional game time during internationals.

Theres more than enough back 3 players in that welsh squad.

Great for Mcnicholl, great to see another scarlet in the squad. But it's killing us.
