Maybe second time lucky?

This time he’s more determined to join a side that loves to throw it around and sparkle with ball in hand. After discovering it last season in the national jersey surrounded by Scarlets derring-do, he got the Fever and decided he must finish his club career in this kind of style.

The WRU will surely offer him every incentive to go to RGC to get this caper up and running.

he can have his pick of teams in European rugby , hell either go to france or England to one of the top sides not a development side in north wales

the only big hitter who may go there is north due to his roots the rest will stay down here or go England/france

will the 60 cap rule even stand now?

Is it any clearer if Josh Adams has actually signed for the Blues? He would certainly add some potency to our attack when not on international duty - the sort of player who might help us make some long-awaited progress in Europe.

Won't get anywhere without more grunt up-front.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

There is a similarity to the way Wayne proctor used to play, more physical and direct than a Steffens Evans or ieuan evans but no less a finisher. Wayne never let us down on the field.

Agreed, and we probably need another 10 as well but as you say  forwards, notably big ball carrying second row and 4/8 are the main priority. I mentioned Adams because he  is looking for a Welsh contract, he is from the region, and now looks the real deal.

Navidi is a good player but not what we need surely? He isn't the dynamic carrier at 8 we are desperate for. He wouldn't get into our first 15 when all fit - 6 - Shingler 7 Cubby 8. Blade. Bench at best in competition with Josh, Boyde, Kennedy & Dan Davis.

If we want to win Europe which is our goal, we have to come away from the thinking of "no point as he wont make 1st 15". we need quality depth.
Navidi will give us class and experience at 6/7/8. He will also fill the void that Barclay/Beirne left. not completely but he and cubby together could be what we need. We played our best rugby when we had turnovers. something we struggle with without Barclay/Beirne. Cubby is doing all he can but is all we really have as a constant threat. To have Navidi would give us another fetcher. He is also a good player in the loose and an aggressive tackler. If available, we would be foolish not to consider him.
Its a squad game. Look at our back row this season despite it being "well stocked".

Navidi would add quality, depth and expericence. Will it happen, i guess thats 50/50.
Navidi will stay with Cardiff. Forget about inter regional signings

The inter regional signings bit didn't age very well did it.

There will always be inter-regional movement. Ok the banding system tries to remove the monetary reason from a move but there are of course many other reasons - hence Amos' move to the Blues.

Hopefully the banding system will prevent a Region bidding against another Region as has happened in the past.
