When we think of signings, we normally think of players and coaches. We've had some brilliant signings over the years but Nigel Short has probably been the best 'signing' of all.

Not much to add to this save the fact that but for Nigel Short we wouldn't be where we are now. I think he's done an amazing job and as at least one other has said, he's arguably been one of the best "signings" the club has made. From a lifelong scarlet's fan, thank you Nigel for saving and helping grow the club I love. |

Hopefully there will be a time and occasion when we will be able to mark our appreciation not only to Nigel for his huge contribution (and continuing support) but to staff members and players that have left.
And a big welcome to those joining us on this great clubs journey. Finally it would also be fitting to remember those that we have lost, that we were unable to give a proper final farewell to. A roll call of sorts. |

Thankyou Nigel Short for being steadfast and incredibly loyal and a driving force for all things Scarlet. Has been a fantastic asset for the Scarlets and we had not a Captain but an Admiral navigating us through some torid times. We have been fortunate for so many of the board for being at our club, Nigel has been superb and again I would like to thank him for being a massive part of the ongoing Scarlet journey and history.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"
"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us" |
