It was great to see two Pontyberem boys playing for us Friday night. Proving that there's talent coming through from the Gwendraeth valley. It's so refreshing to see that following on from from the boys of Bancyfelin and Newcastle Emlyn etc. I should mention Llandeilo too where Dan Davies is from. This is why we are a team of the people

Quite right. It seems to me that the backbone of the side needs to be local-ish lads - our 'imports' are often superb and committed players, but having a substantial local element in the squad makes for a strong identification with the region. Anyone 'coming in' will then understand how much it means to the local lads and supporters.
