Can anyone give advice on where we are likely to head after the game?

Got two 'passengers' that arent coming to match, so are there specific bars that people are going to head to?

Supposedly there is very little around the ground and the area isn't very nice either. Paris is a huge city, it depends on where people are staying in terms of the direction they will go after the game.

There is supposed to be a decent bar for supporters at the stadium itself.

Dorian & I are staying in the Kyriad, Colombes.
We will probably travel in to central Paris on Friday afternoon, travelling back to Colombes from St Lazare for the match.
Paris is awash with bars; fall backwards in any street and you probably end up in one.
pm me if you want to meet up somewhere.
Are you there on Saturday, Rob?
A couple of us are going to a famous Parisian institution for food that evening.
Great atmosphere, good food and decent prices for one of the world's most famous cities.

I've fked up on several fronts so that I can't attend.

As Barrie says - there's room for a decent meal on a 3 night tour - agreed. For a raucous shant of a meal try the Pied Cochon - a right late at night massive basic meal piss artestry facility - gets very full at weekends of course

This is a late night drunken solids facility - but it does have a bar

Speaking to Natalie last night, this is going to be quite a classic
trip.
There are 4 buses going over, 2 are staying in the Ibis, Epernay & 2 in the Ibis St Denis Sud.

She said that a number of supporters have asked about meeting up on Saturday in Paris city centre.
Apparently, the coach company would be willing to take people around on a sightseeing trip. For those who don't want to do this, the suggestion was to drop off in front of Gare St Lazare and then do your own thing.

This would be good for those travelling under their own steam to meet up with the coach party.

For those who like shopping, Paris' equivalent of Selfridges & Harrods (with prices to match) are just around the corner-Printemps & Galarie Lafeyette

Not far is the Paris Opera House and there is an RER station there which goes up to the top of the Champs Elysees & Arc du Triomphe.

For those who fancy a quick half there are loads of bars around there. I do not know if any are suitable for heavy shanting, cofiwch.

Just a few suggestions.

What do you think, bois?

It's not always about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

My wife not coming to the match and is heading over to meet us after the game. Can anyone with any knowledge of the area give me advice as to where to tell them to meet us? Local bars etc? Or is everyone planning on heading towards the centre.

Be nice if the Scarlets massive all stick together.

O Beret Basque. Great pub. Photo of Phil Bennett in there.

It's a couple of minutes walk from Gare Du Nord station. There are better areas than Gare du Nord to eat and drink, but Beret Basque is a good rugby pub.

I would imagine everyone will stay on in the bar at Racing's stadium for a bit after the game. The problem is that the area the ground is in is supposedly pretty desolete and not really somewhere where you could chose to spend an evening in Paris in.
