He was heck of a player, hard as nails, brave as a lion and a natural leader. Hard to believe he's died at the age of 42. Shocking news. Munster fans classy with their tributes at Racing's ground. So sad.

Their rendition of The Fields Of Athenry was quite touching. Fair play to Racing too for opening their field to the Munster supporters so that a memorial could be organised at the halfway.

Thanks for explaining that... I caught a glimpse on TV, but couldn't understand what was happening, as the game was postponed.

It's always a real shock when someone 'too young' dies suddenly... my daughter has been struggling recently with the sudden (probably unknown heart-problem related) death of a 28 year old friend... we had some of the group staying here for the funeral... it's really upsetting, and all sympathy to the Foley family, and friends. It'll take a long time for them to recover from this
