MATCH PREVIEW FROM LLANELLI RFC

"After a week off we are once again in Tier2 Principality Premiership action this coming Saturday afternoon. We host the All Whites at Parc-y-Scarlets and as usual we extend a very warm welcome to both home and away supporters and of course to the Swansea RFC players and Officials.
It was great to see the boys come away with a long overdue win against Cardiff at the Arms Park a couple of weeks ago. They really worked hard to secure the result and as I've said previously we all know the talent is there, it's about attitude and confidence. With just the three games left we still have an outside chance of qualifying for the Tier2 playoffs - realistically we will probably need to win all three! This fixture and our game against Bargoed are on our own patch so we have a super opportunity to make home advantage count, let's start with a 'W' on Saturday.
Our opponents Swansea find themselves in exactly the same position as ourselves, 1 win from 4 played so far. So, they know that three wins could secure them a place in the playoffs. They came undone at the Brewery Field last Saturday in what was (apparently) a pretty dull affair. Games between Swansea & Llanelli are far from dull affairs! you only need to take a look at our games at semi pro level, more often than not very high scoring, entertaining games played in the right spirit with tries aplenty. Let's hope for more of the same on Saturday.
So why not come along to the Parc to catch the latest instalment of Premiership action - it will be a very keenly contested game with the victor looking to make the playoffs.
As always we are all grateful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all once again.

Finally a huge thank you to Saturdays match day sponsor Vinci Facilities. Diolch"

Cracking result from a very young team.
Good to see Dan Davies make his debut (I think) off the bench. Looks like another fine prospect at 7 for us.

A nice win boosted bizarrely    ( although it's all business!) by a party of Germans looking for an impromptu mini stadium tour which we managed to cobble together thanks to Chairman Meurig!

Then a party of 20 young women turned up from Cornwall on a Hen Party looking to watch our game. Lovely bunch who spend well with the beer and Prosseccio in equal measures! We gave them plenty of pitchside coverage and the bride to be from Cornwall presented young Ioan with a kiss on the cheek for his man of the pitch award before the girls after the game ( blush galore from him!) . Plenty of fun today off pitch and Phil Steele gave an amusing pre match talk with Garan Evans pre game with him being down today with BBC Wales.

Nice to play with The Whites again and even better to win! Good day in the Premiership! Bargoed next Big smile

Reesy, a great business opportunity or two there.

How about advertising in the German Rugby press for rugby weekends in Llanelli. Match, stadium tour, maybe a friendly if they want.

Plus, how about making PyS a Hen Party destination? The Hen presenting MoM has got to be a draw. Something to market in a niche manner.

Thinking outside the box gets greater revenue, entertainment and matchday experience.

I'll pass on that gig quicker than Aled Davies gets the ball away from a ruck.

Not sure the committee pole-dancing in that garb would help attract folk.
