If anyone doesn't mind travelling to London stansted you can get to Marseille for £35 return with a cheap train to Toulon. Train is about £23 or a bus is £9. One hour travel.

There are flights direct to Toulon from Southampton going on Friday and back on Monday. I think the prices have gone up a lot since we booked though. It is easier to get to Southampton

For what its worth when I visited Toulon a couple of years ago I flew into Marseille. Courtesy bus available to the station & short train ride into Marseille main station. Train to Toulon was about an hour with beautiful scenery along the coast. Toulon itself is one of my personal best trips - lovely rugby mad city, great supporters and usually warm weather. I was there late October - 30 degrees. Be sure to check out the Toulon supporters bar close to the ground.

We are 2 on the 7am on the Saturday from Bristol, but come back on Tuesday 17th. We are on the train from nice, aiming for the 12-30, it's about 30mins bus ride from the airport to the central station in nice., so unlikely to be able to catch the earlier 11-00 one.

Odd. I've just seen it for £62 return with EasyJet. Or you could go with Ryanair from Stansted for £30. Has anyone actually seen the very cheap flights I've mentioned?

No one wants to go to Stansted, pain in the neck to get to, or home from, especially with a hangover.

Hello,
If I were you, I would take the bus  - direct from Nice airport to Toulon center at 09h35 and cheaper than the train. See here :
https://www.busradar.fr/recherche/?From=A%C3%A9roport+Nice+C%C3%B4te+d%E2%80%99Azur+%28NCE%29&To=Toulon&When=2017-10-14&WhenReturn=&Passengers=1&ShowRidesharing=true&ShowRidesharing=false

If you really want to take the train : You can take your ticket at the last minute in the train station.

Sorry for my french.

See you in Toulon

Three hundred tickets sold by the club apparently and there will be other Scarlets' supporters who have bought directly from Toulon so we should be a big crowd.
