Ieuan versus Scotland in 1988 “merlin the magician couldn’t have done it any better “ was the description of the try by the legendary Bill Maclaren.

SQ v France (1994)
Ieuan v England (1993)
Benny v Scotland (1997)
Jon Davies v Ireland (2012)
Scott Williams v England (2012)
Ieuan v Scotland (1988)

Not an individual best try but certainly up there with one of the best team tries.....

Stevo versus England in the 2003 RWC.

Given the circumstances and the occasion, for me it has to be Cawdor at Twickenham in the World Cup. Simply Epic 🏉🏉🍺

Who was Jonathan Davies playing for when he scored with that grubber and skinned their 8 (Derek White i think?) in 1988 against Scotland, was he still with Neath then?  That was a great score! Vision, pace and skill execution ClapClap

He was playing for Llanelli at the time, it was his first full season with us (in fact his only full season with us), so a good call.

Benny in Scotland Ieuan and Jiffy were brilliant in 1988 ! Scott Quinnell  fantastic individual try against France in Cardiff 1994 was the best for me !

Benny in Scotland 1977, I was there!

The Scottish scrum half (forgotten his name) had a hard kick at Derek Quinnel's arm as he was trapped in a maul.

3 that stand out for me,because I was there as well,were ieuan evans and jiffy's tries versus Scotland,in the 1988 5 nations,and then ieuan Evans's effort against England,in 1993.

SQ in the corner v France.
Foxy v Ireland.
Scott in Twickers.

Honourable mentions:
Cawdor v England in World Cup.
Stevo v Argentina (I THINK) - where Wales had a pen, Stevo placed the ball as if we were going for 3 points, tapped the ball and scored a try in the corner when the opposing side had their backs turned expecting a kick!

as a performance, Dwayne Peel v Scotland in 04/05 I think was simply world class. no try but I think he created all tries brilliant assists.

I know the link isnt going to work live but there is a great Roy Bergiers try in this match. It was the only international he and Grav started together and with Benny at flyhalf, it was an all scarlet midfield. The try by by Gerald Davies went through all three scarlet players.
