Ominous comment from Radio Scotland summariser ‘Scarlets are making it easy for Glasgow’s defence.’

Samson has his opposite number in the scrums. Should have a pen the first scrum, turnover on the second.

Jonny W coming in to the line well, just needs to look for the offload.

PRO 14 site says we've conceded 4 pens to their 1.

Is Mr Murphy being even handed? He's not usually when he refs us.

Lineout is a challenge. Nothing convincing from us in the 4 or 5 throws we have so far.

Ref is a bit lethal. The 8 didn't even have his hands on that ball, never mind he whistled for a pen within 2 secs.

2 no arms tackles conceded by our 8.

How is that a penalty to them? MacLeod made it a ruck and then their hands went in.

It won't be given but the Scarlet player was held in the ruck to create the gap for the player to go over there.

At last. A scrum pen. Glasgow LH slipped his bind every time he's gone down for a scrum.

Quite so - it's been a joke - he penalised the Scarlets, or gave free kicks, a couple of times.

Halfpenny misses, though...

Glasgow jackal penalty is an inevitable outcome from our phased play.

Glasgow scrum half was way offside when he tackled Cawdor at that last breakdown.

Their player blatantly didn’t roll away, allowing their player to jackal there.

Murphy is very poor.

Even the Scottish commentators are saying that a number of kicks could have gone either way - but with Murphy, easy to guess which way most will go.

10-0, HT

Lineouts flaky. Scrums dominant but generally unrewarded. Outside backs a little redundant. Busiest feature was the refs whistle.

Posted By: Mr Ian
Date Posted: 11 October 2020 at 6:02pm
More hard work in breakdown, they dont roll away...
Seems se have a contracted game play. Too many possessions for pur forward and our backs are too many close to them...
Defence good as usual
Not an electrict half in a match that we could win .

Posted By: N14
Date Posted: 11 October 2020 at 6:02pm
The ref hasn’t lost our lineouts in key areas of the pitch. Lineout not working, we can’t unlock their defence and not got the rub of the green with the ref to be able to rely on Halfpenny’s boot. Hope
Delaney has a plan for the second half!

No doubting that but he gives lots of penalties away. Twice for no arms & one for sealing off.

From what I saw, at least the first of those penalties was harsh. I'd probably be a little more concerned with his lack of impetus on the ball. However that's pretty much a problem with the whole team.

Yep agreed, and he's been our biggest forward carrier by some way.

Seems to be a guy that makes an impact, one way or another.

Business as usual - Cubby in for the jackal, but pen goes to Glasgow.

Louisi is going to get a red card, though - clumsy rather than deliberate, but probably letter of the law corect.

Wyn Jones penalty for lying on the wrong side- legitimate.
Lousi red card and penalty -legitimate
Elias collapsing the maul - legitimate
Wyn offside - legitimate.
Ball offside - legitimate

All obvious. Ref doesn't need any help here. We are putting it on a plate for Glasgow.

Not a great 5 minutes.

The very worrying thing about the team is this isn't the first time it's been ridiculously high.

Tom Rodgers must’ve touched the ball 5 times in the last 2 games. Making it so much easier for teams to blitz us.

3 weeks ago we were the best region with strength in depth.?

Posted By: Raised By Peregos
Date Posted: 11 October 2020 at 6:32pm
I don't think strength in depth is the issue. We just brought on 2 Welsh caps, a British Lion and a recent call-up to the Welsh squad... tactics, discipline, selections, skills under pressure, clearing out at the rucks would all be ahead of that for me...

Im waiting for someone to post oh forget this now , dont be negative lets forget it and move onto the next one (And learn nothing) I cant help thinking selection is a big issue atm
