Great news, just goes to show that if the product on the field is top quality then people will pay to watch it. We just have to back it up again next season.

I’ve tried to erase that Bath game from my memory as well.

Interesting that the champions cup Treviso game was the lowest attendance. 1pm kick off influence that?

Bigger crowds also encourage attendence so if we keep winning and entertaining then things will keep improving attendance-wise.

Possibly or it could be to do with people thinking we wouldn't qualify after losing our first 2 pool matches.

The demolition job at the Rec went a long way towards doing that! LOL

We were 0-2 in Europe at that point, people probably couldn't foresee us doing anything in the group.

Possibly, but we'd played them at home the week before and they're not exactly the highlight of the season in any case [no disrespect intended], so not only the KO time, IMO.

Of course on one level it is not fair to count those matches where we had a near 2nd team due to internationals - what's the average ignoring those matches?

This is great news.  I remember as we moved to the Parc that we had a business plan that said we needed an average gate of 8k a season to be sustainable.  A lot of water under the bridge since then (sponsorship, tv deals, player wages increase etc), but does anyone know if we now have a  published  target attendance figure?

Just worked it out, I worked it out that weve had 11 home games when there has been no internationals on so our average gate is 10546 for them 11 games

Times have moved on and I think that they now look at total revenue and how to maximize the numerous income streams that are available to us.
