I echo the praise for Rob Evans & Ken who have made the most advancement of any during the 6 nations & should certainly make the Lions tour with both in with a strong shout of making the 23 for the 1st test.
Agree entirely but I'd also add Moriarty to that list
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

A discussion on Radio 5 earlier made no mention whatsoever of Rob going on the Lions tour. As usual the English media have their favourites and will push them forward with gusto.
It's not always about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

Rob should go , but I don't think he will because of experience, he best loose head in open play which is becoming very important and is a good scrumager if Samson was fully fit all three of our front row would have been in contention. Ken has to go best hooker by mile in 6 nations.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

I have a feeling all 3 of our front row will tour.

I think being Welsh on this occasion, is a distinct dis-advantage.

Samson needs a pre season rest. Otherwise he will not recover properly from his injury from last year.

I'm not saying he'd start, but having him as one of the 3 TH's in the squad - with his experience of the Lions of 2013, would be a huge plus for Gatland.

Don't know if you have watched Samson much this season, but he has no chance of touring. Samson for his own career longevity needs a rest otherwise his career could suffer.

English lead media and Ireland will always be the darlings who can't do any wrong. Both Ken and Rob have been outstanding all tournament and deserve to be at least on the plane to New Zealand.
Only one team plays in red. (Sorry, Scarlet)

Ken definitely going, rob definitely should be and Samson has no chance, even injured he can hold a scrum better than Francis which is shocking imo. I don't think any amount of rest is going to fix Samson, achillies injuries are horrible and potential career ending ones and I think has cost Samson his confidence and strength on that foot. Priest land did the same but it seems had more luck on his side and he doesn't have to pack in at front row and scrum with all that weight on it. Gutting as Samson was a beast but now I think we'll see him holding the scrum and not going 100% on it. Rob evs wins us plenty of pens anyway.
