Not a bad result. I didn’t think he’d have any reduction from the entry level due to this being his second red card.

Ridiculous, when contrasted with O'Mahoney's sweet fa. for diving in shoulder first toward players who couldn't get out of the way or protect themselves. And what happened to the Glasgow player who knocked out Ken and prevented him playing for weeks/months with what was nowhere near a tackle - no citation and no punishment?

It’s a fair punishment as what he did was reckless, pure and simple. The others might also have deserved bans but that doesn’t mean that Louisi’s punishment was ridiculous. When compared to the Turnbull ban it seems pretty fair.

Its evident citings need reform. Some level of consistency is required i’m not advocating no punishment, it was dangerous play. However to me there was no intention to deliberately hurt, Sam is a big lad and it in a high shoulder to a player just landed off a high ball and was bracing for the hit.

In my opinion deliberate cheap shots should be taken out of the game, even if they are not as dangerous. They should both be followed with a ban. O Mahoney isnt the first and wont be the last, but it just makes the whole process seem like a bit of a farce. You get a lengthy ban for an accident and no ban for a cheap shot.

Until there is a Worldwide disciplinary panel , the shambles will continue...

The challenge by Hill the Exeter lock on Faletau a shocker, was not even sighted . The challenge on Ken , by the Glasgow forward on Ken , also looked a shocker ..The Irish/Scots run league ,only showed one replay , if that was a Welsh player it would have been shown time and time again ..

A cheap deliberate hit , heavy or light, should morally always carry some suspension even after a yellow and/ or red , even if only a week! It is wrong to just cite players and ban them for non intentional hits (which become technically illegal due to recklessness or carelessness) and leave intentional hits go scott free in citing terms. It needs levelling up to use a Boris phrase!

There should be a worldwide panel, reviewing video and making decisions without any money-spinning, jobs for your QC mates hearings.
They should be based in a low tier nation (Spain?) and any team can just ask them to review an incident.
Teams who spam empty review requests would get a fine.
They would remove mitigation for good behaviour.
They would apply increases for bad behaviour.
I would also suggest an automatic lengthening of sentence for current internationals.

Lousi 4 week ban for an attempted tackle. It was a poor tackle, but a tackle never the less. Fair ban.
Hendersen 3 weeks for a deliberate cheap shot to the head on dan evans.
Omahanoy nothing for a deliberate shoulder to thevhead of jake ball.
Zander fagerson nothing for a no arms tackle and shoulder barge to ken.
It shows how inconsistencies are making this league a laughing stock and proving that if you live in certain regions you can get away with almost anyghing
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

you can cite other cases till the cows come home but the thing is if he was more disciplined on the field he wouldn't be in this position, this instance was an attempted tackle but out in munster he was swinging haymakers his team mates and supporters don't need that.

I agree Nigel - any more problems and he becomes a total liability who is not worth a new contract. Discipline is a huge part of the modern game. Our penalty count is one of the highest after two rounds. Carry on like that & we are not going to win many games.

Totally agree with you both there. We have great jacklers over the ball but the player making the tackle has to be quicker in making the movement away from the area - I feel this is something we get pinged with a lot.

Does the friendly against the Dragons count as one of Sam's 4 game ban, same as our friendly against the Ospreys counted as one of George North's ban?

Yes. Personally find it ridiculous but certainly won’t complain!
