Not fussed on seeing him back asap for 6 Nations frankly and happy to see him after 6 Nations with a clear bill of health for the region

Indeed - with Halfpenny, Adams, McNicholl and North, Wales are well covered in the back 3. They can easily do without Sanjay this season, if they have to.

Whenever and wherever he returns to play, he needs to be 100% fit first.
I share no-one's ideas. I have my own.

We could do with a genuine option for fullback against Edinburgh, to have a world class one would be great.
So you are saying Halfpenny isn't a world class fullback?

Halfpenny won't be available for Edinburgh, same goes for McNicholl.

I think that EJPT is assuming that HP is unlikely to be released by Wales - so wouldn't be available to us.

Yeah not sure Wales will let us have Halfpenny back for that game. I think Shingler could be released however which would be a boost.

Wales aren't in the habit of releasing players that played the week before and likely playing in the next game. I don't think we'll see 1/2p until after the 6N.   Fringe players do get released, given the umbers in the back row we may get Aaron back

Just an assumption if they're involved with the match day squads, I would be very surprised to see either of them considering how much of a lay off team wales got after the World Cup, hope I'm proved wrong.
