What are our fixtures for the rest of rebooted season. One game against the Blues, another against the Dragons right?

Anyone know those of our rivals in the conf - Connacht? Two from Leinster, Munster and Ulster I suspect.

And then if we qualify for the playoffs, what is the format?

Cheers

It's very unlikely we'll qualify for the playoffs as they're supposedly straight to semi-finals now.

We also know we've already got the Heineken spot so these two games are pointless in many ways, other than giving a run out to the squad ready for Toulon and next season.

The IRFU are hardly going to allow us to catch Munster are they.

I agree its just getting the squad on the pitch and ready (ish) for Toulon.

I would think the league is limited on the amount of weeks available to it if this 8 Nations winter tournament thing is going ahead

I didn't appreciate it was straight to SFs. Cheers.

Leinster and Munster will face each other at the Aviva Stadium in their first game back on 22 August with Ulster and Connacht squaring off in Dublin on the same weekend. Ulster conclude their regular season campaign against Leinster a week later when Munster take on Connacht, again at the Aviva.

As only the top two go forward to SFs, we would have two win both fixtures and Munster would have to lose both theirs. Munster with no LBP and us with one TBP
We're still still here!

The winners of the Bristol Bears v Dragons and Bordeaux-B├Ęgles v Edinburgh Rugby quarter-finals will play one another on Friday, 25 September while the winners of the RC Toulon v Scarlets and Leicester Tigers v Castres Olympique quarter-finals will meet on Saturday, 26 September.

The highest-ranked clubs from the pool stage will have home venue advantage as per the traditional Challenge Cup format.

It means the Scarlets, who finished the pool stages as eighth seeds, will definitely be away in the semi-finals should they triumph in the south of France on Saturday evening.
