Hope for a nice Sunday afternoon outing then to the Quins-where we always get a great welcome!

Is Tom Hughes a misprint or is this another Tom to go with the other two?  Also see that Jacob Botica is starting so RGC are contributing players for this one.
Is Alex Schwarz also one of theirs?

I thought we may recall Nicky with Samson being out. Nicky seems to have done well at Bristol

Yes Alex is RGC so good to see these players being released by Mark Jones.

Tom Hughes usually plays at 13 for RGC and is very good. I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up by one of the regions. Very strong and knows his way to the try line.

Scarlets Premiership Select side to take on Cornish Pirates at Carmarthen Park,
Sunday 10th December, kick-off 2.30pm;

15 Tom Rogers, 14 Ioan Nicholas, 13 Tom Hughes, 12 Billy McBryde, 11 Ryan Conbeer, 10 Jacob Botica, 9 Alex Schwarz, 1 Rhys Fawcett, 2 Dafydd Hughes, 3 Javan Sebastian, 4 Josh Helps, 5 Chris Long, 6 Shaun Evans, 7 Dan Davis, 8 Tom Phillips (c)

Replacements; 16 Matthew Moore, 17 Steff Thomas, 18 Nicky Thomas, 19 Joe Powell, 20 Gareth George, 21 Jack Maynard, 22 Rhodri Jones

Some young faces from the Welsh-Anglo Cup & Vovember fixtures in there, and Nicky Thomas back from loan at Bristol on the bench? Schwarz at scrumhalf sounds spicy - anyone know much about him? Interesting to see Botica at 10 ahead of Maynard & McBryde, and good to see that Rhodri Jones' experiment at tight-head is over as he lines up as the outside backs replacement. Wink

Scarlets Premiership Select B&I Cup game;
Round 4: Cornish Pirates v Scarlets at Cornwall Stadium, Sunday 17th December KO 2.30pm
Round 5: Hartpury v Scarlets at Hartpury College, Saturday 13th January KO 2.30pm
Round 6: Scarlets v Ulster A at Llandovery RFC, Saturday 20th January KO 3pm
