Simon is in the squad now. I think what we take from yesterday is if we are away in Ireland during an international period (so no Samson) and Kruger is injured, it's not a problem. Nicky and Simon will do the job.

Both Nicky & Simon have got the raw materials. However both need to keep working on their fitness levels and control their weight. As Wil said 3rd choice TH is up for grabs & will yield a fair bit of game time over the season.

Quite so....

And GPR is quite right as well. There is a bit of "once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic" about both of them- pies/burgers/buffets rather than alcohol of course but both woll have to work really hard for the rest of their careers. To change everyone else's perceptions of them for a start.

I would like to endorse what Wil Chips said about Llandovery and how well they had everything arranged on Saturday. They thanked us in the clubhouse after on the microphone for coming up. They didn't expect to see as many of us there. It really does help forge the links in the region. Lovely curry and chips in the clubhouse too.
