Kieth Jarred had a short career, fantastic 1st game, out of position, and then when back into the centre was at best above average/good.

Terry Price, who I have always said was one of the best natural sportsmen I have ever seen, and certainly amongst the best 10 rugby players of all countries I have seen, never really made it after a fantastic 1st season.

Who knows what affect the early introduction to International rugby caused, ability wise, may be ok, but were they and mentally prepared for the games.

Players thankfully are aided far better now that the 60's/70's/80's. 
Be careful when you pick up the stick.........IT MAY BE THE WRONG END!!!!!!!!!!

Healthy debate.

I’m advocating him keeping the 13 shirt through derby fixtures, it would be a gutsy call should Fonotia be fit, but one I’d support, if for no other reasons than the 10 year age gap, and the paucity of home grown centres plying their trade in the top flight right now.

Agree fair point I dont recall many of Taits England matches or any stand out and didnt realise he had won so many caps. His premiership career has been pretty decent.

Tough when it comes down to the Christmas derbies where there will be feisty and may be decided by a mistake or inexperienced decision. For that reason I’d start Blade and Fonotia over Morgan and Baldwin.

Judging by Mooar's selections so far, I think it's pretty safe to assume that he'll carry on rotating players to avoid burn-out... Hardy looked a lot better on Saturday after a break, for example.

In terms of qualifying & the knock out phase, we still have the brilliant home advantage to the top 4 clubs which then carries on through to the semis.

The mumps is still present in the Bayonne squad. One of their players was ruled out of their squad today, for tomorrow’s match away to Lyon.
