I think wainwright is a definite starter

I think so too... question is then, where does he play?

If Faletau is back to 100%, then not at 8 - but he could start there if Taulupe needs more time, or if Moriarty is picked.
7 could be Tipuric (most likely) or Navidi (who can also play 6 or 8)
6 could be any of Shingler, Navidi or Moriarty.

Reckon it has to depend on form and fitness, so if Faletau fit I'd start him with Tips and Wainwright.

If Faletau needs more time, then Navidi at 8, Tips at 7 and Wainwright at 6 with either Shingler or Moriarty on the bench.

Who'd be a selector? Tough calls.

Personally I see Moriarty as one of the weakest out of all those players. He has no real specialised role. Doesn't seem to win anything at the breakdown. Tackles hard, however his carrying has dropped off and I don't see him as having a real role.

If its on form then I would expect Navidi/Wainwright and Faletau if hes looking good.

Fair comments.

May as well get that experiment out of the way as early as possible.

I suppose this try-out is at the request of the Wales selectors... FWIW, I used to think that North, given his size, speed and power, could make a go of this position, but it doesn't look as if he has enough football or handling skills about him to make it work.

Adams is different - clearly has a rugby brain, but it would surely be a waste of his finishing skills to play him there.

The article says that Scott has a hamstring problem, which is worrying and could rule him out depending on how bad it is.

3 and 13 are definitely the problem positions...
