If I may interject:)
It will only get bad if people panic buy, that puts other essential road users at risk of not being able to fill up. 94% of petrol stations will not be particularly affected. The majority of drivers are all employed( not self employed) and on 35 grand+ per annum, they are purely looking out for themselves and inconveniencing the public. There are drivers on ten grand per annum less (inc self employed) who are not part of this protest, and do not agree with it. The union have taken it on themselves to cause all this palava. The employers are the ones losing financially, and the drivers are putting their own jobs under pressure because their bosses are losing valuable income due to having no drivers!!
These drivers are on a good screw, and they want more more more, greed.

I'll tell you how bad - bad enough to cough up to these mercanaries demands.

A teacher with many year's experience gets around 32 grand a year whilst police get how much? I can let you all have the pay scales for the NHS and these people (according to their own union) get a basic salary of 33 grand, increasing to 36 with overtime (the poor dabs have to do 45 hours some weeks - the 8 days from last Sunday to next Sunday, I will have worked 73.5 hours for the NHS). They were offered a package worth a basic of 39 to 41 grand - and they turned it down! How many degrees do they need for that salary compared to teachers etc? Bugger all, that's how many.

Before anyone says they know someone who works as a driver and they don't get this money - I'm talking specifically about this company and the fact that the unions themselves gave the salaries.

Rant over.
