Corey Baldwin not included in the Wales u20s team - does this indicate we’re planning on playing him?

I would start with Gardiner and bring Kruger on as the game opens up and play Boyde at 8 with Macleod at 7 and also swop positions for Rawlins and Beirne.  Bring in Ioan Hughes for Rhys Jones and put Phil Price on the bench. I didn't see the Sale game but from what I heard Lee Rees played well and anyway his more experienced than Declan

15- Johnny McNicoll
14- Tom Prydie
13- Paul Asquith
12- Steff Hughes
11- Tom Williams
10- Dan Jones
9-  Jonathan Evans
8-  Wil Boyde
7-  Josh Macleod
6-  Lewis Rawlins
5-  David Bulbring
4-  Tadgh Beirne
3-  Simon Gardiner
2-  Emyr Phillips
1-  Dylan Evans

Replacements
16- Taylor Davies
17- Phil Price
18- Kruger
19- Steve Cummins
20- Jack Condy
21- Lee Rees
22- Ioan Hughes
23- Ioan Nicholas

I would agree about Lee, impressed against Sale and Dec is surely only just fit.
it would depend on Lee's working conditions. not sure what he does for a living, but this fixture is away in Italy. he may he may have work commitments. we would need this player to be training all week - during working hours with the scarlets.

It was confirmed in Meet the Coaches that Treviso would be a likely return for Declan.

Lee Rees is a Personal Trainer and Semi-pro Rugby Player with Llandovery according to his Twitter Profile!

Seems likely - the U-20s would hardly have dropped him, would they? Unless it's "X deserves a chance for us to compare the two".

I understand that they rotate quite a lot at this level as they are trying to give players game time in preparation for the U20's World Cup.

97th game for Clancy! You'd have expected him to have improved by now, but I suspect he'll blunder his way through this one too.  When's the team announced today or tomorrow?

Clancy - aaaargh!

I do think, though, that even George would have to go some to deny the Scarlets a win. We'll see.

Was it Bergamasco that Italy picked at 9 when he was a back row?
