Realistically our non internationals tend to perform better than our supposed 1st choice international players, if it were anyone other than Leinster we’d probably be looking forward to the change.

OK here is a stab at the team :-

15. McNichol 14. Conbeer 13. Tyler Morgan 12. Asquith 11. Steff Evans 10 Costelow 9. Blacker
1. Price 2. Taylor 3. Javan 4. Sam 5. Morgan Jones 6. Kennedy 7. Dan Davis 8. Casseim (C)

16. Marc Jones 17. Kemsley 18. Werner 19. Tex 20. Iestyn Rees 21. Homer 22. AOB 23. Steff Hughes.

If we are struggling in back row then Iestyn could start with possibly Josh Helps due back????

Best player left on the bench.  Steff Hughes will be captain and the first name on the team sheet and rightly so.  Next will be Dan Jones.  These two give 100% to the cause whenever the pull on the Scarlet shirt.  Against Leinster we need as much experience and commitment as we can find in the squad.

My selections are not meant to minimise the contributions of the two mentioned players. My personal preference is for us to try to play with pace and tempo as well as giving some players an opportunity in their favoured positions. I don't think many are expecting us to win this game so what do we have to lose. Of course if we want to try to beat Leinster by kicking them the ball then by all means play the two you mention.

Totally agree. Steff starts and is Captain with Dinky at 10. Our forwards need to step up to give the backs the platform and which they have not done this season

I would agree with this and start Tyler Morgan outside Dan and Steff with Asquith either on the wing or on the bench.

Dave we had 72 per cent possession against the Blues,,how much ball do you want forwards to win ??
.
Our major problems are in backs, admittedly our possession is far to often slow ...We are just content to box kick the ball away ,with our back three poor in the air,in attack or defence, absolute waste of time .

The Blues came with a blitz defence, hardly a suprise  Our game management and back play was toothless . There was acres of space behind the blitz, yet no one noticed it ..Our lack of pace in our backs a huge worry,17 tries in 11 league games is awful.

Yep, to say the forwards haven’t given the backs a platform is nonsense. Lineout aside the pack have been good this season and have won plenty of ball. The main problem is our attacking shape is all over the place
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

At least have Carwyn on the bench. We will be light in the back row through all our injuries and if Kalamafoni is out we could do with a powerful ball carrier. We can't do a lot worse if we start experimenting.
