They (wasps) were also rumored to be interest in in Naholo. But it looks like London Irish are in the lead to sign him.

I reluctantly tend to agree with you Dai. The huge high that Project Reset created some months ago has become a pretty damp squib with signing & re-signing of players being delayed. You cannot blame players for looking after their futures and grabbing firm opportunities if/when they arise. This could well mean our regions losing some key players like Davies at the Ospreys. When AWJ speaks quite openly of how frustrating it is then we should all listen.

Money will get you better players, however there is a further consideration. Nathan Hughes will allegedly earn 550k at Bristol. Is he really 10 times better than McLeod, who for arguments sake, is on 50k with the Scarlets ?

In other words, what more are you getting for your money ?

I have no idea what Josh is on but he ain't on £550k thats for sure!!!! I am not a big fan of Hughes and if I had been the money man at Bristol I would have offered Mata of Edinburgh £400k and got myself a better player. As we already know ball carrying no 8's are in short supply such is their importance to a pack. I have to say that if Mata had been playing for us against Leinster we would not have come away empty handed in that first half in my opinion and that is in no way meant to be a criticism of Josh who I rate very very highly.

Suddenly Ireland's depth is being challenged. Toner added to injury list so down to three fit second rows for Scotland.

Was thinking the same, also Murray is a shadow of his former self.
