Should comfortably be 6 from 6. For whatever reason I don't see Glasgow as real competitors for honours this season. Perhaps its because we seemed to deal very comfortably with them both at home and away last season.

Looking at both conferences you have to say B is far stronger than A and I think Glasgow last year proved that. We fought hard to get to where we did and demolished Glasgow who won the conference weeks before end of sesaon. This year I would say our pool is even harder with Benneton being much improved, whereas pool A I would say is weaker with the Cheetahs not being anywhere near as good as last year

Yes it does appear that way. 3rd place after Munster & Glasgow is up for grabs. If Clarke manages to selectively accumulate enough points to get to 3rd his season will be considered a success.

OSPREYS

Hosting Connacht ins the PRO14 at the Brewery Field on 26 Oct to avoid a 5-day turnaround before their next game v Glasgow. Swans play Reading at the Liberty on the Saturday.

Playing in Bridgend on the Friday night will also allow them to pick their Wales internationals ahead of the week-long run-in to the Autumn Internationals.

It'll be their first league game away from the Liberty since they moved there in 2005.

DRAGONS

After squeaking past the mighty Southern Kings last week, the Dragons took a pounding against an almost fully-loaded Leinster at the RDS. The Dragons team looked strong on paper, and stayed in the game for most of the first half, but once Ross Moriarty was sin-binned for 'looking at Johnny Sexton in a funny way', they couldn't live with the champions.

Dragons head coach Bernard Jackman insists his team are making progress, and he's confident that they will improve. Ermm

Jordan Williams's try was a thing of individual beauty, like we all know he can do, but it was too late in the game to be consequential. Hallam Amos dislocated his elbow on his 100th Dragons appearance, will be out for 4-5 weeks. Ouch.

Final score: 52-10. Double ouch.

for all those who didnt witness jordans wonder try of the season ...3 minutes 30 seconds in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCF0E1LPkYs
60 odd yards out skins about 5 or 6 defenders with vintage pace and footwork
Clap
As for the moriarty sending off, looked like a massive hollywood dive from sexton imo

I have fixed the link - thanks for that - Jordan was always brilliant in attack.

I haven't seen much of Jordan since went over the Bridge -has his defence which was poor improved ? he seems bulkier but that try was classic weaving and stepping Jordan. Still comes to the odd RFC game ..once a Llanelli boy perhaps.. would love him back IF defence was improved.

no not really. v Leinster, he had IIRC, 1 tackle attempt, 1 missed tackle.
Not great. similar stats in every game in defence.
Not sure if that miss tackle lead to a Leinster try but if it did, he has just cancelled out his try.
Towards the end with us he was not even offering much in attack either as well as being very leaky in defence...assuming why he was shown the door. Not seen a try like that at top level from him since he left us though to be honest.

Leading at Parma last Saturday, we saw the striking Cardiff Blues ability for late losses continuing, this time against Zebre. So coach John Mulvihill has three games and three losses to date. Things do not get easier for them this week, as they welcome Munster to the Arms Park.

The Blues will have to have improved their protection from the rolling mauls for this game, after Munster mastered that powerful weapon against Ospreys last week. Mulvihill has chosen Gareth Anscombe as running full-back with Jarrod Evans as play-making fly-half, so they will be expected to fire up the dangers of the home team.

Bernard Jackman was positive as a result of the 52-10 Dragons loss in Dublin against the Champions, Leinster - and there were several reasons to be positive. Despite the unilateral score, the Dragons showed decisive defence over several phases of play, the scrum was firm for long periods, and the try of the game (if not the season) was scored thanks to the bright feet of full-back Jordan Williams.

But Jackman and the players will have the pressure back on Saturday as they welcome Zebre to Rodney Parade this weekend. Following a great victory over the Cardiff Blues, Zebre will not have anything to fear. Dragons miss two international players due to injury - Hallam Amos and Leon Brown - but are hoping to be able to welcome another, Aaron Jarvis, back for his debut off the bench.

After a fantastic start for the season, the inexperienced Ospreys team got home with a bump after meeting a strong Munster team last weekend. Alun Wyn Jones, Justin Tipuric, George North and several other international players return to the squad for the Benetton tour on Saturday.

Despite their losses at Parc y Scarlets last Saturday, the Italians showed stubbornness and heart as they stopped the home team for long periods, after their lock Irne Herbst received a red card in the 26th minute. With both teams hoping to burst memories of last weekend, this should be an extremely competitive game under the Liberty floodlights.
