Shame, they never quite got it right once they moved from the old place in Market Street.  Standards dropped dramatically, and they didn't make best use of the building having invested so much in it.

True, and Ali stepped back - I think he's driving taxis now apparently?  Ben's doing better than it was first feared I think also?

Gutted to hear this, been going there for the last 25 years. I agree that they shouldn't have moved from Market street, the atmosphere was never the same. Sad news 😟

Crikey surprised to hear that. Theye been in business for donkeys years. They sold off part of the building to rubys, now this? Id expect that area will get busier too with the developments at Library and Llanelly house opening this month, and the pedestrianisation by the Parish Church. Have to say though theres a general diminishing of quality at many take aways lately.

You're right.  By far and away the best restaurant and take-away in the area (excluding the premium restaurants like Sosban) is Bahn Mai Thai on station road.  In a different league in terms of quality of ingredients and cooking to the mass market rubbish we seem to get from everywhere else.

Never had a bad takeaway from Jamil's, recommend it to everyone and a mate of mine had three in his first week of trying it!
